May 14 - May 17: Purple Up!
As part of our Get Carded campaign, we want you to get your own library card.
So, we are celebrating, during the week of May 14 to May 17, by wearing purple, reading purple, singing purple, and playing purple.
You can come dressed in purple. We love purple!
Arthur Has a Library Card--You Can Too!
You can get a library card no matter what age you are. It's free and super easy to get.
Once you get your card you can borrow books, DVDs, music CDs, and eBooks.You can get homework help!
Bring your Mom and Dad, your Grandma and your Grandad, and get them a card.

Babysitters’ Training Course
Next course date: Friday, June 7 - 9:30 - 4:30 pm Keswick Branch
For children 11 years of age and older. Registration accepted in person only with proof of registrant's age along with payment of $45 per child.
This course is designed for youth who want to become a babysitter or may already be one. The Babysitting Course covers the responsibilities of a babysitter, safety tips for children of all ages, basic child care skills and what to do in case of an emergency. Please register in advance of the course date.

Mother Goose on the Loose
This early literacy program uses rhymes and songs to help pre-reading children get ready for reading.
For children 0-30 months – siblings welcome (up to 2 children per adult).
Keswick Branch - Thursdays 10:30-11:15 am

Sleepovers at the Library
We offer a unique experience for Sparks, Brownies, Guides, and Scouts. Looking for an adventure? Camp out at the Library. The cost is $200 and payment is required to confirm booking. Call for more details: 905-476-5762 ext. 103.
Birthday Parties at the Library
We offer a unique party experience that promises to be memorable. A one-hour story-based program on your chosen theme, led by a dynamic Children's Services staff member.
Themes include: Pirate, Fairyland, Pajamarama, Look What I Made, and Lego.

Library on Wheels
Can't come to us? We would love to come and visit you at your daycare, school, or nursery school. Visits will take place between 9:00 - 10:00 am where possible.
